Michelle  “Mickey” Cox, 55, left us on January 26, 2019. Mickey was born in Indianapolis on July 28, 1963 to LaNell Sumner and Jack Sumner.

Mickey is survived by her husband Randy Cox, her dad Don Marsh, sisters Sherri “Sumner” Herald, Annette Calvert and Regina Zanchi Hutt, brothers Steven and David Sumner, her beloved dog Bear and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mickey was proceeded in death by her mother and father, sister Mary Sumner and Brother Mike Sumner.

Mickey loved her work with Barb Kehrer at the Historic Steer-In and prior at Zanies Too. Her job allowed her to connect to many people on the east side, too many to name individually, but we know she touched the lives of many.

Memorial Services will be held between 10 and 12 on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Indiana Funeral and Cremation, located at 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Mickey. The passing away of a loved one is always with much sorrow. May we have faith and confidence in the Bible’s promise of a time when pain, sickness and death are a thing of the past (Revelation 21:3, 4). My condolences are with the family at this difficult time.
